Corporate Sales Director

Location: Waitsfield, VT
Annual Salary + Commissions
Status: Full Time, Eligible for Benefits

The Corporate Sales Director is responsible for acquiring new customers and growing the corporate sales division of Small Dog Electronics. As an Apple Premier Partner, this position will primarily sell Apple and other complementary third party products to a wide range of small to large business and organizations in the New England area.

Essential Functions:

  • Develops and implements strategic sales plan
  • Represents company at key business conferences in the area
  • Meets with clients, maintains relationships, negotiates, and closes deals
  • Prepares periodic sales reports

Work Environment:

The position is headquartered in Waitsfield , Vermont, however; significant travel may be expected.

Position Type:

This is a full-time position, and hours of work generally fall within business hours with a flex-schedule approach to accommodate sales meetings and conferences outside of business hours.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Sales Experience
  • Working familiarity with electronic communications and social media is a must.

Preferred Education and Experience:

The ideal candidate has in depth knowledge of not only the computer industry, but has worked within the Apple ecosystem and with third party product solutions that integrate with Apple. Additionally an understanding of Smart Home solutions and how they can integrate in the modern home and office.


South Burlington, Vermont Openings

Retail Sales Associate

Location: S. Burlington, VT
Status: Full Time, Part-Time
Reports to: Retail Store Manager

We're seeking a friendly, dynamic Apple enthusiast to join our retail and phone sales staff. Availablitity on weekends is required for this position.


A fierce commitment to customer service, knowledge of and passion for Apple products, an understanding of the digital lifestyle, and keen attention to detail.

Strong writing skills are a must as we use email to correspond with customers daily, and Saturday availability and a flexible schedule are necessary.

All employees of Small Dog Electronics are expected to submit weekly reports on how their week has gone and what they have accomplished, to become and Apple Product Professional and to complete one day of community service per calendar year.

  • Managing workflow in a fast-paced retail environment, which also includes a full-service call center
  • Email correspondence and follow-up with customers

Service Writer

Location: S. Burlington, VT
Status: Full Time
Reports to: Service Manager

We’re seeking the right person to join our service support team as a service writer in South Burlington at 100 Dorset St location. This is a critical role which helps to support both our retail and service departments in South Burlington.

Basic Requirements:

1-2 years previous experience customer service experience.

The right candidate will possess a strong entrepreneurial spirit - as well as good critical thinking skills essential for basic troubleshooting hardware and software issues, strong communication and customer service skills, a team-oriented work ethic, and obsession with the details. Good working, hands-on, knowledge of general IT concepts, basic laptop/desktop repair, software troubleshooting a plus.

Requires excellent time management, multitasking, deductive reasoning, strong verbal and written communication skills. Works directly with customers to ensures an excellent customer experience, resolves complaints, and leads by example to provide optimum customer service.

Daily responsibilities include:

Assisting with the check in and pick up process of computers for our repair department and general help with expediting repairs. A critical part of this role is acting as the main go to support person to keep the repair flows and processes moving smoothly. Helping to communicate with customers about the repair process as well as potentially providing in store lessons/consults.
